So here it is; 2012 -the wonder year.

At WhenYouGrowUp HQ we see this as a very VERY big year. The one where we mushroom, where our fungi mushrooms, then where our mushroomed fungi explodes, everywhere, virally and intravenously.

It’s going to be messy…

Building on what we’ve learnt over the last year since we launched in Beta, since I climbed aboard, since Matt tweaked, Diana shepherded, Alun directed, since we hit the road across the UK and US, and since we’ve been speaking to the ones that know the most: YOU, we’re ready to adjust and change our promising careers platform into the world’s most advanced and informative careers network, for real.

We’ll finally be adding comprehensive jobs listings in the WYGUpedia, we’ll be developing the hyper-informative newsletter to feature more and more careers that YOU want insights into, and we’ll be developing a ‘WYGU for education’ -a networked version of our platform so schools and colleges can keep a closer eye on what’s happening as their students use WYGU.

There are many other things in the pipeline also, as we develop relations across the pond, further embed ourselves in discourses around unemployment and government responses, develop our branding and messaging, and open corporate level subscriptions.
