Pssst! Do you want to know a secret???
WYGU’s ‘Secret Project’, where we placed 6 job ads in a variety of publications to recruit people to do their dream job for a day, has now been unveiled!
The project was in fact a video shoot with a difference where all the applicants combined their array of skills and talents to make a short video to help introduce WYGU. They had a blast, got paid and did a pretty good job of conveying the message; “Together we’re building the world’s largest careers network… … come and be part of it!” Find out more about what the applicants thought of the whole experience in our behind the scenes video.
The response has been fantastic and it’s captured imaginations around the globe with people contacting us from as far away as the US, Venuzuela, Australia and New Zealand!
Speaking of New Zealand, one lady forwarded a link to something very similar that Pepsi are doing over there. They’re running a project called ‘Max It! Job$’ and they’re also advertising for people to do 1 days paid work! Maybe they were influenced by what they’ve seen coming out of WYGU…
The only difference seems to be they’re offering $10,000nz to each participant. Wow! So if you’re in New Zealand (or even if you’re not as it’s probably worth flying there for that money!) and fancy trying your hand as either a Video Game Tester, a Music Gig Reporter, a Bikini Shoot Director or a Lamborghini Test Driver then why not check out the Pepsi Max It! Job$ site. We think they’re going to have thousands of applicants so it will be interesting to see what it takes to be successful and if you end up being one of the lucky few then be sure to update your WYGU profile as there will be literally thousands of people wanting to know how you did it!
Good luck and enjoy our Secret Project videos!
